Field Force Training The use of Fibre Optical Cable (FOC) is growing dramatically in New Zealand and skilled resources are desperately required to plan, install, and maintain the new FOC networks. There are a good number of experienced engineers and technicians from many technical industries who have the ability to become Certified Fibre Optic Technicians. Our Fibre Optic Association (FOA) training is an excellent way to provide the knowledge and how-to required to work in the Fibre Optic Industry. The courses offer three tiers of training using a balance of theory and hands-on instruction. The Certified Fibre Optic Technician (CFOT) has a knowledge pathway. Additional modules such as Fibre to the Premises and Advanced Fibre Optic Training (AFOT) are available with the FOA registration. The FOA is an international non-profit education organisation that is dedicated to promoting professionalism in fibre optics. Almost 200 international training programmes have been approved with over 23,000 technicians globally having completed the requirements for the FOA CFOT (Certified Fibre Optic Technician) certification. Our organisation can provide fibre optic training and coaching for your existing field force. By empowering your work-force and sub-contractors, you can leverage an existing valuable asset and provide long term support of your own FOC network. |
