Certified Fibre Optic Specialist/Design (CFOS/D)

This is a recently introduced, specialist certification program that covers  Fibre Optic Network design.  The course covers the particulars of how to design fibre networks as part of a complete communications systems or as part of a construction projects

Who should attend?

The course is a follow-on module for CFOT qualified technicians with at least one year of experience in Fibre Optics.  It is intended for contractors, installers, architects and engineers who are involved with projects that include Fibre optic networks.

What will you learn?

The learning outcomes include the ability to design optical networks to meet specified capacity, flexibility, and reliability requirements. The student will also be able to demonstrate competency in applying best practices for given customer scenarios that encompass traditional networks as well as next-generation network design.
